Frequently Asked Questions
Please read this if you have any questions, especially referring to requests, and how we generally handle business here at the blog. If there are still any lingering questions, please feel free to ask us. We will not entertain any questions that can be answered here.
Requests
1. How do I request?
Look to our ask box. On the top left of our blog, there is an option labeled “Request.” Click that, enter in your request, click “Ask,” and you’re ready to go.
2. What do you post?
We post anime, manga, and game couples, as stated in our description. However, we do not post manhwa couples. [Note: This may change if all of a sudden you guys beg for us to post manwha. But for now, we will not do manhwa requests.]
3. Is there a limit to how many times we can request?
There is absolutely no limit to the number of times you can request. :] Good news for you, right? ^^; Request as much as you like—we appreciate any and every request we receive.
4. I requested something, but it still hasn’t been answered yet. What should I do?
Okay, here are a few things you can do: 1) take a deep breath; 2) discover a wonderful thing called patience; 3) check back later. We admins have lives, surprisingly, and we can’t get to your request the nanosecond after you submit it, since we either have other things to do and there are probably tons of other requests that came in before yours. No matter what the request, we do all of them. So if you know for sure your request was sent, leave it be, and we’ll get to it. Don’t get an anxiety attack just because we’re taking a bit longer than you want to answer it.
5. Okay, but what if I’m not sure my request went through?
Then by all means, submit it again. Just let us know if you’re requesting again just to ensure your request went through. That way we’ll understand and not think you’re an impatient twat. As long as you don’t spam our ask box with your requests (we get enough requests a day to be considered spam), then go ahead.
6. What couples can I request?
Any and every from anime, manga, and video games. Sometimes if you give us obscure titles, we can’t find something decent enough to post, so shame on us and go ahead and call us out on our epic fail.
Here’s one thing that bothers us the most though: over requested couples. Jeez, there are only so much fanart and screencaps out there for some shows! Please, if you want to see pictures of a couple and you see them a lot on our blog, search some tags on our blog. It’d save all of us a lot of time. Otherwise we’ll just reblog old stuff from our blog for you because it takes too long to try to find something new.
7. How many pictures do you post per request?
Generally, it depends on the admin. Sometimes we’re generous and post a lot, but it’s usually around 2-3 pictures per request. Request a spam, we’ll post from 8-10 pictures. But I beg that you do not request spams often, especially for obscure couples. If you do request a spam, we’ll probably leave it in the ask box for a little bit before doing it. We’ll tackle the easier requests, and then do yours. It’s smarter to just request a couple without a spam because we’ll do it faster.
8. I tried to go to the request page, but instead I got a page that said “NOT FOUND: The URL you requested cannot be found.” What happened?
Usually if you can’t find our request page, we’ve closed the ask box. Closing the ask box means that there are a ginormous amount of requests piled up in there that we need to tackle, and having more pour in as we work won’t help us catch up at all. We’ll announce if we close the ask box, and also when we open the ask box. Please be understanding and patient. We only do this to better serve you.
9. Do you post yaoi and yuri?
YES. We love non-het pairings just as much as the next guy. Please do not ask us this anymore. It is on our blog description too.
10. Can you post really, really, omfg, so sexy hentai?
LOL PERV NO GET YER MIND OUT DA GUTTER
11. My request is a challenge. Will you take it?
Yessiree, we will. Whatever crack pairing you have in your mind, all of us admins will try to tackle it. Success rate is… low, but hey, you requested a challenge. Of course it’s hard to find something.

The Blog
12. What theme do you use?
Our current theme is Simplify by thebronzemedal.
13. Where’s the next page button on the blog?
It is at the bottom of the page ^^~!
14. I don’t know what to watch or read next. Help?
Check out our recommendations page! We’ve got all kinds there—shoujo, shounen, yaoi, yuri—you name it. Got a show or manga we should add on there? Let us know in our ask box and we’ll add it.
15. I don’t know what to request…
We’ve got a list of the top requested couples on FYAC here. Check them out for any ideas of which couples to request. The lower numbered couples are usually requested the most, so steer clear of those, since pictures to post of them are usually exhausted by us now.
16. Who’s posting? It’s more than one person, right?
Correct you are! We have about 10-12 active admins working on the blog. Active members include jewfish, jongda, syelbi, lightning-hero, ialwaysgetaten, kygoesmooo, kayh-tea, kiryuu, starryeyedfireworks and dontcallellaine. Interested in learning more about our admins or just talking to us? Follow them on their personal blogs *hint hint nudge nudge*or check out our admins page.
17. Can I join the blog?
Right now? No. I apologize. We have enough dedicated admins, and following the mistake that I (meaning key-shell lol) made back in the winter of 2010-2011, we will not accept any more admins. Sorry.
18. Who is the couple in your background?
It is a random couple, meaning an original couple and not from a show or series. I (jewfish) did this to avoid making the background a picture of a couple that people loath. Plus, it’s a beautiful picture, ne? ^^~
19. Where do you get your pictures?
We admins all have our different sites, but most of us use zerochan, pixiv, e-shuushuu, deviantART, and even Google Images. :]

20. What’s a jewfish?
DEAR LORDIE, lol, you don’t know how much she gets this question. xP jewfish is the url of one of our awesome admins. She explains it as follows: 1) She’s Jewish; 2) She’s a Pisces, which is symbolized as a fish; 3) Put those together, and you get a jewfish. Which is an actual fish, if you didn’t know. ^^;
Any other questions, please ask us in our inbox! Thanks!
